This page explains what cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) Kōda OS uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. We also use browser storage APIs (localStorage and sessionStorage) for the same purpose. Throughout this policy "cookies" refers to all of these.
These are required for Kōda OS to work. They cannot be turned off. They store authentication tokens, your preferences, and your in-app data while you use the service.

If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we load PostHog to understand how Kōda is used in aggregate. Analytics help us improve the product. They are not used for advertising and we do not sell this data.

If you click "Reject", PostHog is never loaded.
We use Sentry to capture application errors so we can fix bugs. Sentry runs only when an error occurs, does not set cookies, and does not collect personal information beyond the error context (URL, browser version, stack trace). We consider this a necessary part of running a reliable service. See the Sentry Privacy Policy.
Stripe sets cookies on the Stripe-hosted checkout page when you subscribe to Pro. Those cookies are required for payment processing and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not set Stripe cookies on Kōda pages.
You can change your decision at any time:

Kōda OS honours your explicit consent choice. We treat browser "Do Not Track" signals as advisory only; the banner choice is authoritative.
If the cookies we use materially change, we'll update this page and re-prompt for consent.
