FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know about Kōda.
What is Kōda?
Kōda is the trading journal that intercepts you before a bad trade — not after. Tap Log Trade after consecutive losses, near your daily limit, or with a tilt-emotion tag on your last entry, and the form doesn't open. A sheet does.
Read how in-session intervention works.
How does the in-session intervention know I'm tilting?
Five signals drawn from your own logged activity: consecutive losses today, percent of your daily loss limit hit, daily trade cap reached, tapping Log within 10 minutes of a Loss, and tilt-emotion tags on your last trade (FOMO, revenge, chased, moved-SL, overtrading). Any one critical signal or any two non-critical signals fires the intervention. No model. No broker API. No guess.
Can I turn the intervention off or adjust the cooldown?
Yes. Settings → Discipline. The feature has a toggle, and the cooldown that fires when you tap Cancel is selectable: Off, 5, 15, or 30 minutes. Default is 15 minutes.
Is my trade data private?
Yes. Your trades, intervention events, and all journal data are stored in your private Supabase row-level-security partition. Only you can read your own data. No public profiles by default.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you unlimited trade logging, the full stats dashboard, the tilt intervention, Discipline Score, prop firm eval tracker, Ideas feed, access to the Kōda global Circle plus two more Circles of your own (each joined or created Circle counts as one), and the iOS/Android PWA. Pro (£24.99/mo or £199/yr) adds unlimited Trading Circles, advanced analytics (heatmaps, MAE/MFE, drawdown curves), custom strategy slots, and weekly digest emails.
How do I import trades from my broker?
Go to Home → Sync. CSV import works for seven major brokers: Tradovate, Rithmic, TradingView, MT4, MT5, NinjaTrader 8, TopstepX, and FTMO. Live auto-sync via the Tradovate API is in development — CSV import is the supported path today.
Does Kōda support futures?
Yes — futures-first. The Lot Size Calculator includes full specs for ES, NQ, MES, MNQ, CL, GC and 11 other contracts. The journal tracks R-multiples and dollar P&L. Prop firm eval mode is purpose-built for Apex, TopStep, and FTMO traders.
How do Trading Circles work?
Circles are private groups where traders share journals, run weekly challenges, and compete on leaderboards. You can join by code, share a link, or create your own. Real-time chat, push notifications, and accountability built in.
Is Kōda a mobile app?
Kōda is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — installable on iOS and Android from your browser, works offline, no app-store middleman. Add to Home Screen on iOS or Install from Chrome menu on Android.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription?
Yes, any time from Settings → Billing. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period.
